Terms and conditions

Last updated: 24 March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Renegade First Aid website and the training services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Renegade First Aid, operated by Renee Katrina Dorrell (ABN 19 433 747 895). “You” and “your” refer to the individual or organisation using our website or engaging our training services.

2. Services

Renegade First Aid provides private group first aid training delivered on-site at your workplace or venue, or at a venue arranged by us. Our courses are nationally accredited through our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partner, ABC First Aid. All training is delivered as private group sessions. We do not offer public classes. Course availability, content, duration, and pricing may vary and are subject to change without notice.

3. Enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have provided a quote, you have accepted the quote, and we have confirmed the training date, time, and location in writing (including by email). We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours on business days, but this is not guaranteed.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD). As we are not currently registered for GST, prices do not include GST. Payment terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is required prior to the training session. We reserve the right to withhold certificates or cancel training if payment is not received by the agreed date. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

By you: If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The following conditions apply unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Cancellations or changes made more than 7 days before the scheduled training date: no fee.
  • Cancellations or changes made between 3 and 7 days before the scheduled training date: a rescheduling fee may apply.
  • Cancellations or changes made less than 3 days before the scheduled training date, or failure to attend (“no-show”): the full training fee may be charged.

By us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a training session due to unforeseen circumstances, including trainer illness, severe weather, or insufficient participant numbers. If we cancel a session, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund at your choice.

6. Participant requirements

Participants must meet any pre-requisites specified for their enrolled course. For nationally accredited courses, participants are required to complete online pre-course learning modules (provided by the RTO) before attending the face-to-face training session. Participants who do not complete the required pre-course work may not be eligible to receive their certificate on the day of training. Participants must be physically able to perform the practical components of the course, which may include kneeling on the floor and performing CPR on a manikin. If a participant has any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their ability to participate, please let us know in advance so we can discuss options.

7. Certificates and accreditation

Upon successful completion of a nationally accredited course, certificates are issued by our RTO partner, ABC First Aid, in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework. Certificate issuance is subject to the participant completing all required assessments (both online and practical) to a satisfactory standard. Renegade First Aid does not directly issue accredited certificates. Any queries regarding certificate validity, replacement, or USI (Unique Student Identifier) requirements should be directed to us in the first instance and we will liaise with the RTO on your behalf. Participants are responsible for providing a valid USI at the time of enrolment, as required by law for all nationally accredited training.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Renegade First Aid’s liability to you for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with our services or your use of our website is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant training session. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renegade First Aid, its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our services.
